From the year 1998 to 2010 we had a design office in Switzerland -Ebneter Design-.

CDC: Concept - Design - Create
`from the inside out`. Briefing from client. Before the start of the project: we do consumer-research how to use the product, we do research about existing products, tumbnail-sketches and first ideations from hand. Doing small paper/cardboard- or clay-bloc-models to get a 3D-feeling for the product-ergonomics.
2. Design
`Design in CAD`. Design-finding in CAD-3D,-for a feeling of the product,-the consumer-user-experience. We design/3D-sketching with Rhino+Modo. We do also first 2D-view-scaleplans in this second stage.
Mostly we work first in 2D-Lines and than we transfer from 2D to 3D-space. This way we have more control over the design and it is more simple with the construction of the design-elements.
This step has more production-details,-the mood of the product in the product-environment. In this stage we can provide you with STL-prints from your product design. We use a 3D-printshop in Bangkok and send the STL-print by FedEx to your office within a week.
5 design-ideas.
3. Create
Refinement in CAD-2D and CAD-3D. In this stage we do studies of the design-details. We do realistic graphic view-CAD-plans in IllustratorCC or Vectorworks, and we do CAD-2D contoursection-plans.
A new, and photorealistic 3D-visualization is done in Rhino-Nurbs and helps to see if the design actually works.
